Nicole wants to save the planet-the Bolton News

Beauty Queen Nicole Jackson hopes to make a difference.


Whereas most of the beauty pageant-star desire for peace in the world, it is the hope of the 13-year-old, of Temse, her new position as UK use to save the planet.

Nicole the first teenage category of Miss Earth United Kingdom, held in Blackpool, introduced and 10 finalists of beat in the whole country to walk away with the Crown.


She decided to her prize money for the British Heart Foundation.


The theme of the contest was to promote green issues.In accordance with this wore Nicole, a pupil at St James CE High School, one of her grandmother dresses, bought from Barnado in Temse, with a view to promoting the message of the reuse of components instead of throwing away and always buy new.


Winners of the higher prize will be whisked away to Vietnam to compete for the world title.


But unfortunately for Nicole, there is no Junior category at the international level of competition.


Miss Teen UK


Its success comes after they recently in the top 12 of national beauty contest Miss Teen Queen United Kingdom was posted.


Nicole said, "the weekend was really good. This is the best election that I participated, as an environmental message.


"When my name was called, I thought they had someone else called. I didn't expect to win.


"I think it's fun of the parades. my confidence has risen."


Mum Kelly said: "we are so proud of her.


"This is one of the best to win elections, as a result of its message. Nicole's motto is reuse, and recycle."


And comment on the position to be taken by beauty pageants exploitation, Mrs Jackson said: "Miss Earth promotes reuse via the mode and maybe this way young people will understand the importance of the environmentally conscious.


"Nicole just takes part in this for fun and meet people they want to be a forensic scientist stills."
